The park will be inaugurated on December 1, 2025, by the Honourable Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and other dignitaries.

Ticket prices start at ₹1,489, with a 10% discount available for online bookings and a 20% concession for college students with valid ID. The park is expected to create over 1,000 direct and indirect jobs, contributing to local employment and tourism.
Wonderla Chennai features 43 rides across various categories, including high thrill, family, kids, and water rides. The park is designed to accommodate up to 6,500 visitors daily. Notable attractions include the Tanjora, India’s first and largest Bolliger & Mabillard Inverted Coaster, and the Spin Mill, India’s tallest spinning thrill ride. The park also offers a 540-meter Sky Rail for panoramic views. Dining options include eight themed venues offering regional and international cuisines. Retail offerings feature merchandise inspired by Tamil cinema and local crafts.
The project was facilitated by the Government of Tamil Nadu’s Industrial Guidance & Export Promotion Bureau. Environmental initiatives include a 3.75 crore-litre rainwater harvesting tank, a planned 1,000 kW solar power installation, and 32,000 sq.m of green cover with over 1,000 indigenous trees. The park’s water and ride systems comply with EN 13814, IS 3328, and IS 10500 standards.
The park will open to the public on December 2, 2025, following its inauguration on December 1, 2025. The announcement was made at a press conference attended by key executives, including Arun K. Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman & Managing Director, and Dheeran Choudhary, COO.
