Zuari Industries Reports Record Sugarcane Crushing in FY26

Zuari Industries Limited’s SPE Division recorded its highest-ever sugarcane crushing of 159.7 lakh quintals in the fiscal year 2026. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 157.2 lakh quintals set in FY25. The increase in crushing volume was driven by improved operational efficiency, higher capacity utilization, increased availability of sugarcane, and an early start to the crushing cycle.

The company attributes this performance to stronger engagement with farmers and improvements in field practices. The SPE Division supported growers with enhanced crop management and varietal adoption to improve yields and supply. At the mill level, tighter operational planning contributed to maintaining efficient capacity utilization.

Zuari Industries plans to extend its crushing operations into April for FY27, aiming to gain a head start for the next fiscal year. This milestone sets a new benchmark for the unit and underscores the company’s focus on operational discipline.
