Waaree Renewable Technologies Secures 704 MWac Project Award

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WAAREERTL) has announced the receipt of a revised Letter of Award for a project with a capacity of 704 MWac/1000 MWp. This update follows an earlier disclosure made on September 9, 2025. The revision is due to evacuation considerations and optimization of DC overloading, resulting in a proportionate reduction in the contract value.

The contract value has been adjusted from INR 1252 Crore to INR 1040 Crore, excluding taxes. Despite this reduction, all other terms, conditions, scope of work, and pricing structure of the work order remain unchanged and continue to be in effect. The project is expected to be completed in the financial year 2026-27, as per the terms of the order.

The order was awarded by Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited (WFEPL), a domestic entity. The transaction is classified as a related party transaction, as WFEPL is a subsidiary of the holding company. The order is a commercial order, and all other terms remain unchanged.
