United Breweries Launches Kingfisher Smooth in Rajasthan

United Breweries Limited has launched a new product, Kingfisher Smooth Strong Premium Beer, in Rajasthan. The launch date is January 7, 2026, and it is aimed at the domestic market. This product is a part of the company’s strategy to expand its offerings in the strong beer segment within India.

The pricing for Kingfisher Smooth is set at INR 100 for a 330 ml bottle, INR 145 for a 500 ml can, and INR 185 for a 650 ml bottle. The beer is brewed using imported hops and does not contain added sugar, providing a smooth and balanced taste. The product is positioned to cater to younger legal-age consumers who prefer strong beers.

The scope of this launch is limited to the domestic market, specifically targeting Rajasthan, which is noted as one of India’s largest strong beer-consuming states. The product is designed to offer a more sessionable and approachable experience, aligning with contemporary consumption occasions. The company has conducted extensive consumer testing to ensure the product meets the expectations of its target demographic.

The launch of Kingfisher Smooth is in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company has also adhered to the guidelines outlined in various SEBI circulars issued between November 2024 and February 2025. The product will be available across leading retail outlets in Rajasthan.
