Texmaco Rail Secures ₹27.67 Crore Order from South Western Railway

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has received an order from South Western Railway for the comprehensive annual maintenance and breakdown restoration of Overhead Equipment (OHE) and power supply installations. The contract covers the Mysore Division and spans 1,046 track kilometres of electrification infrastructure and associated electrical assets. The total value of the contract is ₹27.67 crore, inclusive of GST, which is approximately ₹23.45 crore excluding GST.

The scope of the contract includes routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of traction power systems across the division. The work is scheduled to be completed within a period of 24 months from the date of the Letter of Acceptance.

This order expands Texmaco’s cumulative OHE and power supply maintenance portfolio to 3,702.62 track kilometres. The company’s portfolio now includes multiple railway divisions and corridors of Indian Railways, such as the Bengaluru Division and select sections of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited.

The order is domestic, and there are no related party transactions involved. The promoter or promoter group does not have any interest in the entity that awarded the contract.
