Subros Ltd Secures Rs. 52 Crore Order from Indian Railways

Subros Ltd has announced the receipt of a new order from Indian Railways for a Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract of Cab HVAC Units. The contract is valued at approximately Rs. 52 Crores and is scheduled to be completed within three years. The order was awarded by Indian Railways, Banaras Locomotive Works, Varanasi.

The contract involves the maintenance of Cab HVAC Units and is part of Subros Ltd’s ongoing business with Indian Railways. The company is already a supplier of Rail Driver Cabin and Coach Air-Conditioning Systems to Indian Railways. This new contract marks an expansion into service contracts, complementing its existing supply agreements.

The order is under the standard terms and conditions of Indian Railways. The financial consideration for the contract includes Rs. 44 Crores plus GST of Rs. 8 Crores. This order is a domestic contract and does not involve any related party transactions.

With this new contract, Subros Ltd’s cumulative order booking for the railways segment in the current financial year has reached approximately Rs. 86 Crores. This includes both supply and maintenance contracts.
