Additionally, it will produce Hydrochloric Acid (HCl – 30%) as a by-product and manufacture blended refrigerants with a total capacity of 7,500 MT per annum. The facility is projected to generate annual revenues of approximately ₹500 crore.
The scope of the project includes the development of the R-32 manufacturing facility, which will enhance the company’s production capabilities. The facility will focus on backward integration and supply-chain resilience. The additional land acquired will support future scalability and infrastructure requirements. The facility will contribute to the company’s portfolio of refrigerant gases, specialties, semiconductor gases, and high-purity industrial gases.
Construction activities for the R-32 plant have commenced at the RIICO Industrial Area in Bhilwara. The project is expected to be completed within seven months, with commercial commissioning targeted by August 2026.
