The EBITDA for Q2 FY26 was INR 580 crore, reflecting a 48% rise from Q2 FY25. Profit after tax for the same period was INR 328 crore, up by 61% year-on-year. For H1 FY26, EBITDA reached INR 1,277 crore, a 75% increase, while profit after tax was INR 764 crore, a 90% rise compared to H1 FY25.

The energy segment played a crucial role in the company’s growth, contributing INR 892 crore and INR 1,832 crore to revenue in Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26, respectively. This segment accounted for 51% of the consolidated revenue. It also delivered INR 331 crore and INR 759 crore in EBIT during Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26, representing 70% and 72% of consolidated EBIT, respectively. The metals segment maintained stable volume growth despite lower realizations.

Production data for Q2 FY26 indicates that iron ore pellet production was 195,000 MT, while sponge iron production was 87,000 MT. Steel billet production reached 57,000 MT, and wire rod production was 44,000 MT. The company also produced 51,000 MT of ferro alloys. In terms of sales, iron ore pellet sales were 115,000 MT, and sponge iron sales were 33,000 MT. Steel billet sales amounted to 12,000 MT, and wire rod sales were 32,000 MT.
