Reliance Intelligence will invest ₹2 crore towards the initial subscription of 20,00,000 equity shares of ₹10 each in REIL. As per the joint venture agreement, Reliance Intelligence will hold 70% of REIL, while Facebook Overseas Inc. will hold the remaining 30%. Both partners have jointly committed an initial investment of approximately ₹855 crore to the venture.

REIL will engage in the development, marketing, and distribution of enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) services. The joint venture aims to leverage technological capabilities to deliver AI-based enterprise solutions. The newly incorporated entity, REIL, will operate as a subsidiary of Reliance Intelligence and as a joint venture between Reliance and Meta group entities.

The company has stated that no governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the incorporation of REIL. Reliance Intelligence informed Reliance Industries about the incorporation on October 24, 2025, at 1:19 p.m. (IST).

The transaction does not fall within the category of related party transactions, and none of the promoter, promoter group, or group companies of Reliance Industries have any interest in the transaction.
