Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has announced that its Hydrocarbon Onshore business vertical has won a major order from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL). The order was announced on December 23, 2025, and involves the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a Linear Low-Density Polyethylene/High-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE/HDPE) Swing Unit at Bina in Madhya Pradesh.
The project will be executed on a Lump Sum Turnkey basis and will feature two trains, each with a capacity of 575 KTPA. Upon completion, it will be the largest LLDPE/HDPE Swing Unit in India. This project is a component of BPCL’s Bina Petrochemicals & Refinery Expansion Project, which aims to increase the refinery’s capacity from 7.8 MMTPA to approximately 11 MMTPA.
