Hindustan Zinc Partners with CMR Green for Zinc Alloy Production

Hindustan Zinc Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CMR Green Technologies Ltd. to establish a zinc alloy manufacturing facility at Zinc Park in Rajasthan. This collaboration marks the second major partnership for Zinc Park, following an earlier MoU with Tripura Group. The facility will focus on producing high-quality, low-emission zinc alloys, which are essential for industries such as automotive, infrastructure, die-casting, and consumer goods.

However, the collaboration is expected to enable downstream value addition of zinc while promoting sustainable metal processing. Zinc Park, announced during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024, is a joint development by Hindustan Zinc and RIICO. It aims to create a fully integrated, renewable energy-powered hub for zinc manufacturing. The park’s proximity to Hindustan Zinc’s Chanderiya, Dariba, and Debari operations ensures strong logistics and reliable raw material supply. The initiative is part of Rajasthan’s ongoing commitment to industrial growth and innovation.
