Highway Infrastructure Ltd Secures Rs. 328 Crore Kaza Fee Plaza Contract

Highway Infrastructure Ltd has entered into a contract agreement worth Rs. 328 Crores for the operation of the Kaza Fee Plaza. The agreement was finalized on January 8, 2026, and pertains to the Chilakaluripet-Vijayawada section of NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh. The company is scheduled to begin operations on January 23, 2026.

The contract was awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). It involves the engagement of a user fee agency through competitive bidding via e-tender. The scope includes the operation and collection of user fees at the Kaza Fee Plaza, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks, including the replenishment of consumable items.

The contract is domestic in nature and spans a duration of one year. The total consideration for the contract is Rs. 328,77,77,777. There is no involvement of promoter or promoter group companies in the entity that awarded the contract, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.

The agreement follows the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on December 9, 2025, which confirmed Highway Infrastructure Ltd’s role in managing the fee plaza. The company has complied with the requisite details pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
