The acquisition involves an aggregate consideration not exceeding Rs.200 crores. Emami initially acquired an additional 36.7% stake, adding to its existing 26.5% stake in Axiom. The transaction has received approval from Emami’s Board of Directors and will be executed in a phased manner in accordance with the terms of the agreement and applicable regulatory requirements.

Axiom Ayurveda Pvt Ltd’s portfolio includes beverage products under the brand “AloFrut”, health juices under “Axiom Jeevan Ras”, and beauty products under “Mukti Gold”. The company is known for its fusion of aloe vera pulp with fruit blends, offering a range of unique flavors. Axiom also produces mocktails, energy drinks, and ayurvedic juices. The company has a strong market presence across general trade and government institutions.

The acquisition aligns with Emami’s strategy to expand into emerging, high-opportunity categories that align with evolving consumer preferences, particularly in the health and wellness space. Emami has been in partnership with Axiom for over two and a half years, gaining valuable insights into the segment. Axiom is a profitable company, with an expected topline of around Rs.180 crore for FY26.

The transaction is expected to be completed within three months, subject to customary closing conditions. Emami has onboarded Mr. Harkirat Bedi as the Chief Executive Officer of Axiom Ayurveda Pvt Ltd. His appointment is anticipated to strengthen the leadership team and accelerate the company’s expansion in the health and wellness beverage segment.
