CESC Subsidiary Receives 250 MW Wind Power Project Award

Purvah Green Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Ltd, has acknowledged the receipt and acceptance of a Letter of Award from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). This acknowledgment was made on February 12, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The award involves the development of a 250 MW grid-connected wind power project. This project is part of the SECI-Tranche-XIX and is to be executed under tariff-based competitive bidding. The tariff rate for the project is set at Rs 3.69 per kWh. The contract is domestic, and the project will be executed over a period of 25 years from the scheduled commencement of the supply date.

The contract was awarded by a domestic entity, SECI, and does not involve any related party transactions. There is no interest from the promoter or promoter group in the entity that awarded the contract. The project is part of SECI’s initiative to enhance wind power capacity in India.
