Additionally, the facility features a foetal medicine and surgery unit, a level 3A NICU, a fertility center, neonatal and pediatric surgical services, and a pediatric intensive care unit with a high dependency unit.

The expansion was inaugurated by several dignitaries from the Karnataka government, including Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare, and Shri U.T. Khader, Hon’ble Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. This event highlights the significance of the facility in the region’s healthcare landscape.

The expansion at Aster Whitefield is part of a broader strategy by Aster DM Healthcare to increase its presence in Karnataka. Alongside the upcoming 500-bed Yeshwantpur hospital and the 430-bed Sarjapur facility, Aster’s total capacity in the state will reach 2,573 beds.
