ACME Solar Signs 25-Year PPA with NHPC for 250 MW Project

The agreement pertains to a 250 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Tranche VI Project. The project will be connected to ISTS substations, with connectivity approvals already secured.
The PPA stipulates a minimum annual Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 40% and requires ACME Solar to meet 90% of peak power requirements for four hours daily on a monthly basis. The project will involve a capital expenditure of approximately Rs 3,700 crore. ACME Solar has already acquired nearly 40% of the land required for the project.
Following the signing of this PPA, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed portfolio has increased to 5,630 MW. The company also has a firm pipeline of 2,140 MW, where Letters of Award (LOAs) have been awarded or are currently awaited.
