ACME Solar Commissions Additional 8 MW in Gujarat Wind Project

ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited, has commissioned an additional 8 MW of its 100 MW wind power project located in Surendaranagar, Gujarat. This development was confirmed on December 16, 2025, and witnessed by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited. The formal certificate of commissioning is expected to be issued shortly.

With this commissioning, ACME Eco Clean Energy has achieved a total operational capacity of 52 MW out of the planned 100 MW for the wind power project. The project is being developed in phases, and this marks the third phase of commissioning. The wind power project is financed by Power Finance Corporation and constructed using in-house EPC capabilities, deploying SANY’s 4 MW turbines.

The power generated from this project will be sold through a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. This agreement ensures a long-term revenue stream for the project. The commissioning of this additional capacity increases ACME Solar’s total operational capacity to 2,942 MW.
