ACME Solar Commissions 12 MW Wind Project in Gujarat

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced the commissioning of an additional 12 MW of its wind power project located in Surendaranagar, Gujarat. This development was executed through its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, and increases the wind project’s operational capacity to 68 MW out of a total planned capacity of 100 MW.

The project has been financed by the Power Finance Corporation and constructed using the company’s in-house EPC capabilities. The construction involved the deployment of SANY’s 4 MW turbines. The power generated from this project will be sold through a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.

The commissioning of the additional 12 MW was witnessed by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). The commissioning has been documented in the minutes of the meeting, and a formal certificate is expected to be issued shortly.
