It features an ISO 8 cleanroom environment and high-precision processes for advanced power electronics. The plant includes specialized testing infrastructure to validate performance under real-world conditions. It also plans to establish India’s first EV charger interoperability testing center to ensure seamless compatibility of EV chargers across vehicles.

The facility is certified to internationally recognized standards, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. These certifications reinforce Exicom’s focus on world-class manufacturing and operational excellence. The plant also incorporates sustainability features such as a 1 MW rooftop solar plant, rainwater harvesting infrastructure, and a dedicated sewage treatment plant. It is designed to meet IGBC Green Building certification standards.

The facility’s establishment is a significant step in strengthening India’s power electronics manufacturing base. It will play a critical role in supporting the country’s transition to sustainable transportation and ensuring the smooth functioning of critical infrastructure. The plant’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and expansion-ready infrastructure are expected to contribute to Exicom’s growth in domestic and export markets.
