It is the first time the Powertrac brand has introduced a dedicated paddy and wetland-focused series. The tractors are developed specifically for the paddy-growing regions of Southern India, including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
The Powertrac Shaurya series is engineered for reliable operations in wetland and waterlogged field conditions. It incorporates cassette-type sealing across critical aggregates to prevent water and mud ingress. The tractors feature a sharp turning radius of 3.1 meters, supporting maneuverability in small and medium-sized fields. They are equipped with a fully constant mesh gearbox with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. The series offers Sensi-1 hydraulic lift capabilities in the 1600–2000 kg range, depending on the variant.
The tractors include an independent PTO lever with a double clutch configuration, enabling controlled implement operations. PTO speed options include dual PTO offering 540/1000 and reverse PTO, supporting diversified paddy applications. Additional features include a perforated elevated platform for paddy use and protected wiring harness routing inside the fender channel. The models are also equipped with an adjustable slider seat with anti-slippery pads.
The Powertrac Shaurya series will be available across authorized Powertrac dealerships in Southern India. This launch is part of Escorts Kubota’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the paddy mechanization segment, focusing on application-led products to expand its regional footprint.
