Bharat Forge’s KSSL Signs MoU with GRSE for Marine Engineering

Bharat Forge Limited’s subsidiary, Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) on March 5, 2026. The MoU was signed to enhance India’s shipbuilding capabilities in marine engineering, focusing on propulsion systems, steering gear, and integrated platform management systems.

The collaboration between KSSL and GRSE aims to leverage mutual strengths to provide indigenous solutions in ship propulsion for both naval and commercial ships. This partnership is part of a broader effort to enhance India’s maritime technological capabilities and promote self-reliance in the defense sector.
