Additionally, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, has received an international order for the supply of 122 MW of solar modules from a customer based in the United States, who operates large-scale solar and energy storage projects.
The total capacity covered under these contracts aggregates to 692 MW of solar modules. The deliveries will take place during financial years 2025–26 and 2026–27.
The orders are one-time contracts for supply and do not involve any related party transactions. The company has also confirmed that its promoters or group companies do not have any interest in the awarding entities.
The orders have been placed by both domestic renewable developers in India and international clients in the U.S., reflecting continued demand for solar energy infrastructure from utility-scale project developers and independent power producers.
Waaree Energies stated that the scope of the orders covers the complete supply of solar modules, which will be utilized in utility-scale renewable energy projects under execution in both markets.
